Kashmir, planned bypeople who live here.

Houseboats on Dal, snow in Gulmarg, the long green meadows beyond Sonamarg. We plan private trips across the valley from our office in Kangan, about an hour up the Sindh valley from Srinagar.

About Blooming Valley

We are a Kashmiri travel company based in Kangan, on the road to Sonamarg. Kashmir is the only place we plan trips for.

That focus shows in the details. We know which houseboats on Dal still catch the morning light, when the Gurez road usually opens, and why you should leave Srinagar for Gulmarg before eight on a snow day.

Every trip is private and built around your dates. The same small team handles it from the airport pickup to the drop.

Private trips
Your own cab and driver, never a shared coach.

How planning a trip with us works

Four steps, usually done within a day or two. You talk to the same person from the first message to the airport drop.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the basics

Dates, number of people, a rough budget and anything you already have in mind. WhatsApp is quickest.

  2. Step 2

    Get a draft plan

We send a day-by-day itinerary with hotel options and one clear price, with nothing added at the end.

  3. Step 3

    Adjust and confirm

Change whatever you like. Once it feels right, an advance payment confirms the hotels and the cab.

  4. Step 4

    Travel with us

We meet you at Srinagar airport and stay on call every day until we drop you back.

Ask on WhatsApp

What is the best time to visit Kashmir?

It depends on what you want to see. March and April for tulips and blossom, May to August for green meadows and treks, October and November for chinars and saffron, and December to February for snow. There is no bad month, only different trips.

How many days do I need?

Six or seven nights covers Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg without rushing. With four nights, we suggest Srinagar with day trips to Gulmarg and Sonamarg.

Is Kashmir safe for tourists?

Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg receive visitors all year. Our team lives here and follows local conditions every day. If we think a plan should change, we will tell you plainly. It is also sensible to check current government travel advisories before you book.

Will my mobile phone work in Kashmir?

Postpaid connections from other states work normally. Prepaid connections from outside Jammu and Kashmir do not, so bring a postpaid SIM or ask us to help with a local one.

Are Gondola tickets and pony rides included?

No. Gondola tickets, pony rides and the local union taxis at Pahalgam and Sonamarg are paid on the spot or booked separately at government rates. We share the current prices before you travel so there are no surprises.

Do you arrange airport pickup?

Yes. Every package includes pickup from and drop to Srinagar airport in a private vehicle, with the driver tracking your flight.

Do I need a permit?

Indian citizens do not need a permit for the main tourist areas. Border areas such as Gurez need registration at checkpoints, and foreign nationals may need extra permission. We take care of this whenever your route needs it.
